FENG SHUI Solar New Year February 4, 2022
This is the date that is half way between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. Classical Feng Shui uses this as the beginning of the cycle of the New Year. The exact time was 4:58 am local time February 4, 2022.
Unlike "Modern" versions, Classical FENG SHUI's roots go back centuries, even thousands of years. It follows cycles of time. There are single years, 20 year cycles, months, days, and even hours. For Feng Shui purposes the first 2 are used most often.
There is also the 180 year time period for which the cycle starts over.

Similar to the seasons turning, so the cycles change. The specific characteristics of the year influences the buildings. The annual energy along with the innate properties of a home... in turn effect the occupants. That is you, me, and all of those cute pets.
Some years an area could be more auspicious. It could even be enhanced for enriched prosperity. While in others years, this same area could need remedies to boost success, improve relationships, or to promote better safety, health, and well-being.
This is where Classical Feng Shui is different. Remedies that are used are made of the 5 Elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, or Water. Since science says everything is energy in the universe, the 5 Elements can enhance outcomes. "Modern" Feng Shui may simply use Knick-Knacks or pictures that one leaves in place indefinitely.
